macadamia banana smoothie

Everybody loves a good banana smoothie. This macadamia version packs an extra protein punch, making it a great breakfast option, or a perfect pick-me-up!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup skim milk
¼ cup macadamia butter*
1 tablespoon oats
1 banana
1 tablespoon honey
¼ cup plain yoghurt
¼ cup ice
crushed macadamias for serving

METHOD

Blend all ingredients except for the crushed macadamias until smooth and pour into a glass to serve top with crushed macadamias.

*Macadamia butter is available at some farmers markets, specialty stores or it is easy to make your own, see the recipe at australian-macadamias.org
