Macadamia banana smoothie

Everybody loves a good banana smoothie. This macadamia version packs an extra protein punch, making it a great breakfast option, or a perfect pick-me-up!

  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup macadamia butter*
  • 1 tbsp oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup ice
  • macadamias crushed, for serving


  • Blend all ingredients except for the crushed macadamias until smooth and pour into a glass to serve top with crushed macadamias.


*Macadamia butter is available at some farmers markets, specialty stores or it is easy to make your own, see the recipe here.
