If you grew up in Australia you’re probably familiar with the famous corner store treat – Weis Bars. The original ‘Weis Fruito Bar’ was developed in 1957 and was sold from Les Weis’s own corner store in Toowoomba, Queensland. The mango and cream bar has been a best seller in Australia for 60 years and in 2004 the delicious macadamia and mango version was launched. 

Tara from Queensland blog ‘The Nutrition Guru and The Chef’ has created her own homemade version of the celebrated Weis Bar.
