Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Australian honey
  • ½ tsp macadamia oil
  • 1 cup raw macadamias
  • Pinch seas salt optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  • Combine the honey and macadamia oil in a medium saucepan and stir over a medium-low heat until well combined. Add the macadamias and continue to stir for 1 minute until they are completely covered in the honey mixture and slightly warm.
  • Spread the macadamias on the prepared baking tray, in an even layer.
  • Roast for 5 minutes before removing and redistributing the nuts, moving the more golden ones on the outside towards the centre and those on the inside towards the edge. Bake for another 4 minutes, or until the nuts are all a golden colour.
  • Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
  • Tip: These are best eaten immediately as the honey coating will soften over time. If you have leftovers, don’t worry—they’ll still taste amazing, just with a slightly stickier texture!
