Planted by European botanist Walter Hill in 1858 from seeds brought from Gympie, the tree is believed to be the world&#8217;s first commercially-grown macadamia. Even though it is listed by the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/trusttrees.org.au\/tree\/QLD\/Brisbane\/Brisbane_City_Botanic_Gardens_Alice_Street_12\" target=\"_blank\">National Trust<\/a>, it still produces nuts!
