Growers Jodie and Michael Cameron bravely traded the city, and a hectic corporate life, for the freedom of Queensland’s Fraser Coast with the purchase of a working macadamia farm, complete with an onsite commercial kitchen. While Michael had grown up in the country, hailing from an organic wheat farm near Goondiwindi, Jodie was at first unsure about the move to farming. “When Michael first started talking about buying a macadamia farm, I was intrigued because I love the country but I wasn’t sure if it was for me” says Jodie. “Then I saw this farm had a commercial kitchen and it sealed the deal; suddenly I could see my future here because I could use it to create something of my own, in addition to being farmer.” Read more on our website. #ausmacadamias #macadamias #onthefarm #farmlife  46 people like this

A bit of colour for your Sunday morning from @gaia_wellness - 
Raw Turmeric Chai Cheesecake ☀️ Repost: “I'm so excited to have found a new turmeric blend @staygoldenproducts . This blend is a turmeric chai with the addition of vanilla and nutmeg to give the blend a slightly sweeter taste. This makes it perfect for raw treats and it also means less sweetener is needed: winning 👍
I also wanted to say a big thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to every one of you. I recently reached 20k followers and I am speechless. No words can express how much you all mean to me and how appreciative I am for every follow, like and comment. Big hugs 💗
Ok, here's the recipe for the cake 📝 
Ingredients:

Base:
3/4 cup pistachios
3/4 cup macadamia nuts 
1 cup shredded coconut
2 fresh Medjool dates 
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted 
Filling:
3 cups cashews, soaked over night 
1-2 tbsp @staygoldenproducts Turmeric Chai
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup coconut butter 
1/4-1/2 cup maple syrup 
Method:
For the base, process the pistachios, macadamias and coconut to a fine crumb. Add in the dates and coconut oil and pulse until well combine. Press the base into the bottom of a spring form cake tin.
For the filling, process all ingredients in a high powered blender (I use my @vitamix_aunz ) until smooth and creamy. Pour the filling on top of the base.
Place the cake in the freezer for 2-3 hours until firm. Enjoy 😊
